My Filmaking Interests

I've always found films to be the ultimate form of expression: a combination of writing/literature, photography, acting/drama, science (special effects), and music.

I am fortunate to work with one of the best on-set special effects (FX) artists in the business, Larry Fioritto. When Larry does a film in which the FX team is asked to be responsible for blank firing weapons, then I work with Larry and am responsible for the weapons in the film.

As always the trick with on-set effects or weaponary is to give the director the "look" desired while keeping the safety of the actors the utmost concern. In addition to doing feature films, I also aid the graduate students in our film school by providing blank firing weapons for their films and teaching them how to incorporate the use of weapons and pyrotechnics in a safe manner into their filmaking.
