Writing Screenplays

For much of my life I have enjoyed the idea of creating stories, but never pursued writing prose. Getting involved in filmaking opened up a new form of writing to me, and I have enjoyed learning how to write screenplays. Unfortuanately, my non-fiction writing and research responsibilities keep me from pursuing screenwriting to the extent that I would prefer. However, I have managed to learn the basics ,and with each script I write, I get a bit better at the craft. None have been produced so far, but I have hopes for the one I'm writing on at the moment. Examples of scripts I've written:

Live Fire. An action adventure in which Navy SEALs working on a film in the desert encounter a group of terrorists.

The Spear. The spear that pierced the side of Christ is seized by Hitler for it's mystical powers and a team of American OSS agents attempt to retrieve the powerful artifact.

My current project is a science fiction script about time travel. My next one is going to be the vampire film I have been wanting to write for years.
