Everything I Need To Know I Learned From Gracie

1 .	Life is not always fair. Bad things happen. Instead of dwelling on why they do, I will do my best to deal with them as they happen.
2 .	A hug from someone who loves me helps most anything.
3 .	What a hug won't help, a nap will.
4 .	When I feel rotten, I won't take it out on others.
5 .	There's nothing wrong with letting people know that I need them.
6 .	It's okay to be different.
7 .	I will do my best to be nice to everyone.
8 .	Life is too short. I will not hold grudges, and I will always let people know that I love them.
9 .	When encountering nasty people, I will not bite. They taste bad. I will hide under a table till they go away.
10.	I can't change the past. I can change the way I deal with it. I will learn from it what I can, try not to let the bad stuff come back to bug me too much, and I will never, ever, use it as an excuse for me to behave badly.
11.	I will not act nasty to people and then expect them to be nice to me.
12.	There are always going to be those who are better off than I am, and those who are worse off than I am. I will not be jealous of the ones who are better off, and I will try to help out the ones who are worse off.
13.	If I screw up and do something bad or stupid, I will admit it, apologize, and then do my best to fix it.
14.	We all are different, but we are also all the same. We are all God's children. We all go to the bathroom, we all hurt sometimes, and we all need each other. All God's creatures deserve respect.
15.	When I fall on my butt, I will get back up and keep trying!
