I am a Professor Medicine, Board Certified in Endocrinology and
Nephrology.
My primary research interest is thyroid hormone metabolism in nonthyroidal illnesses and altered nutritional states. I am currently working on a multicompartmental model to analyze thyroid hormone and iodide metabolism using the SAAM program.
