Barracoon

Hurston's newest book, published in 1999. 1999? Yes you read right. That's not a typo. I really know nothing about this book. I saw it here at Amazon. According to the information there Harper Collins will publish it in January of 1999. So that is something to look forward to.

Like I said I really know nothing about what the book is about, except I believe that Barracoon was a holding cell of some sort where they kept people who had been captured in Africa before they were to be shipped out and sold as slaves.

If anyone knows more about the book, let me know so I can share it here.
