
OVERVIEW: The University of Southern California is seeking candidates for a Clinical Instructor/Assistant Professor of Clinical Pharmacy position. This practitioner/clinical faculty position will be located at the USC University Hospital, a 285 bed tertiary facility located on the USC Health Sciences Campus. The successful faculty candidate will be responsible for clinical activities, which will include drug monitoring, distribution, and administrative activities within the hospital. In addition, this faculty is expected to participate in scholarly activities such as teaching and research.
Applicants for this full-time, non-tenure track position must possess a Pharm.D. degree and be licensed in California. Critical care experience is preferred. Residency or fellowship training is highly desired, but consideration will be given to individuals with equivalent specialized training or experience. Salary is commensurate with qualifications.

Founded in 1905, the USC School of Pharmacy is
the first and foremost pharmacy school in Southern California. Approximately
50 percent of the pharmacists in the region are graduates of USC. The school
has an annual average student body of approximately 660 full-time students
in the doctor of pharmacy program, 60 students in the master of science
and doctor of philosophy programs, a full-time faculty of 76 and more than
430 voluntary clinical faculty.
