The Southern California Research Conference for Pulmonary and Critical Care Medicine is a chance for this regions academic medical centers to closely interact and share research. The variety of research spans issues in pulmonary, critical care, and sleep medicine. |

The research conference provides pulmonary and critical care medicine staff and their fellows the opportunity to present current research in all areas of pulmonary and critical care medicine. Priority for presentation of a research abstract is given to the fellow or other staff sponsored trainee. Young Investigator Awards will be given to individuals judged to have presented the best abstract in either the clinical or basic science category. Pulmonary and Critical Care Medicine research trainees will receive conference financial support should their abstract be accepted for presentation. Submission of work to this meeting does not preclude its submission to a national meeting. The absolute deadline for abstract acceptance is Monday, January 25th, 1999. |
