We are interested in computational and data analysis problems in genomics arising from DNA sequencing. A particular focus is on understanding of transcriptional regulation, the role of transcription factors, histone marks, DNA accessibility and epigenetic complexes in controlling activity of enhancers and target gene expression. Our lab is a member of Analysis Working Group (AWG) of the ENCODE Consortium, where we work on various aspects of gene regulatory analyses and development of novel computational methods to study transcriptional regulation.
